Starting this Thursday 29th November, one of the nation’s most loved food events returns for four days of festive inspiration.

Some of the biggest names in the industry will be at the weekend event, including Mary Berry, James Martin, Paul Hollywood, Tom Kerridge, Michel Roux Jr, Nadiya Hussain, and the list goes on… The line up of celebrity chefs will be cooking live on stage and sharing their extra tasty Christmas recipes for spectators.

It’s not just catching a glimpse of the celebrity foodies to look forward to. The show will feature more than 450 exhibitors displaying their finest seasonal products, and visitors can enjoy live cooking demonstrations form the UK’s most loved chefs and experts, including local food hero Glynn Purnell.

There will also be opportunities for visitors to get up close and personal with their favourite chefs once they’ve rustles up their signature dishes. Barney Desmazery will conduct live interviews and demonstrations with the experts. There will also be hands on masterclasses, and opportunities to be inspired by demonstrations from a variety of food and drinks experts at the Winter and Seasonal Kitchen.

Tom Kerridge will be one of the chefs cooking live, and he said: “The great thing about the British food industry is that it is filled with passion. The world of food is surrounded by people who do it because they love it - it’s not a job to them, it’s a way of life.

“BBC Good Food Show at the NEC Birmingham brings together the very best products, people and exhibitors, and everything you can taste and see at the Show has so much to heart, soul and love.”

Visitors can sample and purchase delicious food and drink from the UK’s finest brands and local producers alike in the themed shopping areas at the Show.  Showcasing everything from gin to fudge, exotic spices to meat, the show will include a ‘Drinks Emporium’, ‘Ludlow Producers Market, ‘Beer House and the speciality ‘Producers’ Village’ – areas for guests to sample and buy the freshest seasonal foods and produce, many of which can’t be bought on the high street. To add to the festive atmosphere, new for this year, visitors can enjoy live Christmas music.
