It's that time of the week again! With the weekend in sight and just a few more hours sat at work - provided you're not working Saturday or Sunday - it's nearly time to kick back and relax, or head out for a night on the tiles! Whatever you might be up to in the next few days, it's always good to start things off right with a positive news story or two. That's where the idea for our weekly series Feel Good Friday came from!

This week, we're taking a look at the story of a bullied student in the United States, who was picked on for wearing the same clothes to school every day. Two football players at the same school helped to dispel some of the negativity surrounding jocks at school however.

The boys, Kristopher Graham and Antwan Garrett - who attend MLK Prep in Memphis, Tennessee - handed Michael Todd a gift when he was taken out of third period.

He opened bags and boxes to find brand new pairs of shoes, as well as items from the wardrobes of the two boys that they had decided to donate. He told the pair that they were the first people to ever give him a gift, and explained to FOX13 that his mother can't buy him new clothes because of how quickly he grows out of them.

American couple find winning lottery ticket on car

Engaged couple Frank Laquitara and Debbie Long-Combs were on a road trip to Virginia when they discovered a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket tucked in the sun visor of their vehicle. Long-Combs had received an email saying a winning ticket had been sold in her area for the August 24th, 2019 drawing, and decided to check the tickets stashed in the car.

Long-Combs explained: "Frank checked the tickets while I read the numbers off of the email - we matched four numbers, plus the Powerball. We didn't believe it, even after I repeated the numbers twice and checked the ticket with the Lottery's mobile app. And we didn't tell anybody either, just in case we were wrong. We didn't want to jinx it!"

In case you fancy putting on your own numbers, the lucky balls turned out to be 5, 12, 20, 21, 47 and Powerball 1, with a Power Play number of 2 that doubled their initial $50,000 prize!

The pair say they'll be buying a new motor for their boat, as well as a new car with the winnings.
