Whether you’re heading off to a Christmas market, or just having a social gathering at home... If it's in the name of Christmas, here are some fantastic festive tipple recipes to make those cold nights a little warmer…Whatever your tastebuds prefer through the festive season, there’s a recipe you can impress your friends and family with here.

Parkin

Use 50ml of Carthy and Black Yorkshire Cream Liqueur with 15ml of Kings Ginger, 10ml of black treacle and 5ml of lime juice. Shake and double strain into a low ball glass.

Lemon Meringue

Tried and tested by Female First, this one is super tasty and we highly recommend for those with a sweet tooth!

Use 50ml of Carthy and Black Lemon Gin Cream Liqueur, 25ml of Limoncello, 1 scoop of lemon sorbet, 10ml of double cream, 10 ml semi skimmed milk and 5ml of lemon juice.

Shake all the ingredients and strain into a martini glass with a sugar rim… and enjoy!

Love Hearts

You will need 50ml Original Gin Cream, 15ml Strawberry Liqueur, 10ml Raspberry Puree, 10ml Lemon Juice and 15ml Sugar Syrup.

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass rimmed with sherbet. Garnish with a love heart.

Yorkshire Mudslide

For this festival tipple you will need 50ml of Carthy and Black Yorkshire Cream, 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream, 100ml of milk and 50ml of double cream. Blend all the ingredients together, top it with some whipped cream, chocolate sauce and if you’re feeling extra - garnish with a big gooey brownie. Tempting…

Banoffee tartlets

This one is a real treat for a festive gathering. To make the tartlets, you will need 3 tablespoons of Carthy and Black Yorkshire Cream Liquer, 1 jar of caramel sauce, 8 ready to use shortcrust pastry tarlets, 1 sliced banana, 250ml of double cream and 2 Galaxy ripple bars.

Method:

Mix Carthy and Black Yorkshire Cream Liqueur with the Caramel Sauce and fill the tartlet cases. Add three or four slices of banana to the top of the caramel. Whisk the double cream into stiff peaks and place on top of the tartlets. Crumble the Galaxy bars on top and chill in the fridge before serving.

Then enjoy with a large glass of Carthy and Black Yorkshire Cream Liqueur.
