What’s better than waking up on a Monday to some overnight controversy from the Queen of Pop, Madonna?

The legendary performer took to her Twitter account last night (March 28th, 2021) and posted a selection of three pictures which instantly sent some of her more introverted followers (and haters) to spew vitriol in her direction.

The pictures in question, as you can see in the tweet above, see Madge donned in some of her Madame X gear, worn as part of the promotional hype train for the singer’s 14th studio album, which was released back in 2019.

Though revealing, the saucy snaps are completely in-line with the social media platform’s rules on nudity and the like. Still, some decided that they were going to take matters into their own hands, reporting the singer simply for expressing herself…

Fortunately, for every troll, there were 10 supporters willing to back Madonna and celebrate her confidence and feminism.

Meanwhile, last night also saw the second episode of the new series of hit BBC drama Line of Duty broadcast, delivering some more twists and turns to the story and exposing perhaps one of the most manipulative “bent coppers” in the show’s history.

Whilst it looked like there could be romance on the cards for both DI Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure), it was revealed that the latter is playing with fire, as her boss with whom she flirts with, DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald), was revealed to be as dirty a crooked officer as they come.

As tension ramped up and we got one of the series’ iconic interview room scenes, audiences were left coming to their own conclusions and forming their own theories about exactly what will happen in the episodes to come.

There were of course also the brilliant jokes and memes that proceed each episode, which had us laughing over our coffee this morning. Good job, Twittersphere!

Finally, us Brits woke up to Brendan Fraser trending on Twitter, for no reason other than him being an often under-appreciated and awesome all-round guy!

Whether it was fans of the actor giving him praise, or those who have actually worked with the man telling stories about how kind he was to them, it’s clear that he’s one of the most respected people in the industry.

There has been a major shakeup behind-the-scenes at CBS chat show The Talk, with original founding panellist Sharon Osbourne deciding to leave the series after a conversation surrounding racism got heated earlier this month (March 2021).

In that conversation, Osbourne continued to defend her friend Piers Morgan, who left his role on Good Morning Britain after accusing Meghan Markle of lying about her mental health struggles and other accusations that were levelled at her husband Prince Harry’s family…
