Millions across America tuned in to see Oprah Winfrey interview both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry whilst the majority of Brits slept last night (March 5th, 2021), and tonight up to seven million people across the United Kingdom are expected to watch as the controversial discussion is broadcast on ITV.

Though Meghan and Harry did have a lot of positives to say about Queen Elizabeth II, they couldn’t stay quiet about how their child Archie has supposedly been treated by the establishment.

Buckingham Palace were reportedly concerned about Archie’s skin tone, which led to huge backlash from those on social media. The backlash even saw #AbolishTheMonarchy trend on the Twitter platform.

There were also comments made online by trolls who decided they knew more about Meghan’s mental health than the Duchess of Sussex herself.

Author Matt Haig spoke for those of us with a heart, when he said:

Of course, there will still always be monarchy boot lickers who will set aside any wrongdoings by the Royal Family, instead attacking those who speak out against them for daring to use their voice…

Amongst the explosive reveals, there was also some good news. Meghan and Harry revealed that their second child, due later this year, will be a little girl.

Now that the couple are living life in the way they choose to live it, rather than being told what to do, where to go and when to speak, let’s hope that their family life becomes more peaceful moving forward.
