Podcast of the week: Australian True Crime

The great thing about podcasts is how conveniently simple they are to consume – you could be driving, cooking, working out – they require no visual engagement. All you need is a handy device to listen on, and you can go about your daily life listening to whatever you enjoy.

From crime to comedy, history to health, there’s something for everyone in the wonderful world of audio programmes.

Our favourite podcast this week is: Australian True Crime

Why? We’re back with another true crime podcast suggestion for all you true crime lovers - we know you’re always on the look-out for more!

Who’s the host? Self-described true crime obsessive Meshel Laurie, and true crime author Emily Webb host this podcast. They cover Australian true crime cases in all the ways we love - informative, clear, well-researched and very engaging. Not only do they tell mysterious stories but they also include interviews with writer, victims, investigators and perpetrators to really dig deep into each case.

What’s it about? True crime, of course! Serial killer cases and missing person cases are regulars on the podcast, aided with the relative interviews with interesting people for comment, analysis and further clarity, the podcast is a true crime junkie’s dream. You can also get involved more by subscribing to be a patron and tuning into their Facebook lives.

Where can I listen? Apple podcasts, Spotify, the usual… They’ve been in the podcast charts for a while now so you should find them pretty easily! But if not, we’ve provided some links as always to give you a hand.

There’s over 100 episodes now, so if you’re a newbie you can get stuck in!
