Suparatana Bencharongkul's agricultural revolution in Thailand has been the subject of quite a few publications on the topic. From a feature in Forbes Thailand to a publication in the European Business Review journal, it is safe to say that Suparatana is doing some things right in her quest to build a better agricultural system for farmers in Thailand.

And one can't but wonder what drove the young, charismatic billionaire's daughter to seek a dream so lofty and so full of challenges. Well the answer we found is quite simple: Suparatana is not afraid of challenges. She not only welcomes them, but she also looks at them with eagerness and enthusiasm.

And then, of course, there is the fact that she was raised by her father to always cherish farmers and understand the important elevated role which farming plays in a country's economy and well-being.

Suparatana now finds herself focused fully on coming up with a solution – or rather a lot of solutions – on the question of how to improve the efficiency and marketability of Thailand's economic stronghold: agriculture.

Thailand is one of the leading producers of rice in the world. In fact, the export of rice alone accounts for about 5 billion dollars of the entire Thailand GDP. This shows how good the country is doing when it comes to agriculture and making the best of the God-given land and resources, but it also goes to show the reliance of the economy on proper agricultural practices.

It is no surprise then that many believe that to take the entire Thai economy to the next level, would involve taking its agricultural sector to the next level. And to do this, in turn, involves devising a whole set of systems of operation that will ensure maximum yield and maximum efficiency, all of which can be brought about by employing existing technological knowledge and incorporating it into the world of Agriculture.

It also doesn't just stop at infusing existing technologies alone, but also requires innovating and inventing new ones. And this is what Suparatana Bencharongkul has made her sole mission.

She seems to be on a good path, too. With the help of numerous experts on the subject, and the personnel in the company with she oversees, Rakbankerd, she has managed to put out a lot of features, applications, platforms, programs, and initiatives, all aimed at making life better for farmers through technological innovations and increasing marketability and value of agricultural produce.

They are also in the process of pioneering the mass adoption of technological gadgets such as sensors, communication networks, unmanned aviation systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics, in Thailand's farming world.

So far the journey has not been an easy one, but Suparatana, or Nina as she is mostly called, has shown that no matter how hard the task is, she and her group have what it takes to make what might seem like an impossible dream a reality.

The future is a long way off, and means of doing things will always keep improving. Should she succeed in her mission, Suparatana Bencharongkul and her group may just end up having taken the first major step towards Thailand’s agricultural domination.
