Cristiano Ronaldo got over 11 million likes back in July on his photo of him and his wife, Georgina Rodriguez, posing together on holiday. Cristiano is the most followed person on Instagram, with 149 million followers.
9. Kylie Jenner and Stormi, and lots of pink…
Kylie went pink overload with her hair, outfit and balloons in this gorgeous picture of her and baby Stormi.
This is the first of many times Kylie pops up on this list, making her the most liked person on Instagram this year.
8. Kylie and Stormi, and pink, again
The world fell in love with this cute photo of Kylie and baby Stormi dressed as pink butterflies. The picture got almost 12 million likes.

It seems the world has a new favourite celebrity pairing in Kylie and baby Stormi, and it’s clear why. Kylie looks absolutely stunning in this photo and Stormi is cute beyond words.

Let’s have a break from Kylie – and go back to Cristiano.
This photo of Cristiano in a Juventus shirt received over 12 million likes, making it the fifth most liked photo of 2018.
It was posted in July, as Ronaldo announced he would be leaving Real Madrid to join the Serie A side Juve.

This photo received millions of likes after the rapper died in June. He was shot in Florida, and after his death this photo became the fourth most liked photo on Instagram this year.
4. Ariana Grande’s tribute to Mac Miller
When it was Mac Miller’s death was confirmed back in September it came as a huge shock to the world of music. Friends, family and fans are still in mourning from his shock passing.
His ex, Ariana Grande, posted this black and white photo of Mac as a tribute on her Instagram page, which received almost 13 million likes.
3. Kylie Jenner and baby Stormi
Kylie takes the spot of third place with this sweet photo of her holding baby Stormi. It’s captioned “my angel baby is 1 month old today”, which unless you knew, you wouldn’t be able to tell looking at how quickly Kylie bounced back from the pregnancy.
With over 13 million likes, it’s one of the biggest posts on Instagram this year.
2. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s engagement
It all felt quite quick with Justin and Hailey but we weren’t complaining! One of the world’s newest power couples announced their engagement in July, and before we knew it, the pair had gotten married in a secret ceremony – which was evidenced by Hailey changing her handle from Baldwin to Bieber.

It was kind of obvious who took this year’s lead, with her completely dominating the top 10.
Kylie and baby Stormi once again proved they’re the most popular pair on the ‘gram, with a massive 18 million likes on this picture.
Kylie kept her pregnancy secret, so when she finally announced she had given birth and we got a glimpse of the newest member of the most famous family in the world, the internet went crazy for baby Stormi.
So, what have we concluded? Kylie Jenner is very, very popular on Instagram, we all love baby Stormi, and you don’t have to have the most followers on IG to be dominate the like charts.
