Say hello to blue skies, blooming daffodils and luscious green grass; spring has arrived.
To celebrate, Pizza Hut Restaurants commissioned renowned food artist Dan Cretu to create seven visually striking images made entirely from the fresh and colourful ingredients in Pizza Hut Restaurants’ unlimited, free salad bar.
From a playful Easter rabbit shaped from crunchy carrots, a gherkin inspired dolphin or a pepper enthused ladybug, Dan Cretu’s playful creations showcase the delicious salad items diners can enjoy free with any main meal, in a way you’d never expect.
Kathryn Austin, Marketing Director at Pizza Hut Restaurants said, 
“With the sun finally shining and healthy eating on the agenda, it really feels that spring is here. Dan Cretu has created some incredible images that use our salad bar ingredients in a way which I never would have thought possible!”
Pizza Hut Restaurants is calling fans to hop on down to their local Hut to 
create their own vibrant vision of spring. Diners are encouraged to show Pizza Hut Restaurants their salad artwork by post an image to @pizzahutuk using the hashtag #FoodArt.
With over 35 ingredients on offer, from superfood seeds to succulent beetroot, visitors to the salad bar will be well on 
their way to their five-a-day.
Dan Cretu created the spring salad foodscapes in less than four hours so ingredients were at their freshest.
Dan said: “The variety of fun, bright and textured salad items on offer at Pizza Hut Restaurants’ unlimited, free salad bar are ideal for depicting the start of spring. The selection available gave me the opportunity to be really creative and craft these unique and playful images”.
