One of my favourite Autumn dishes is this Paleo Cottage pie, it is full of flavour and totally delicious. https://www.biteappy.com/blog/blog/paleo-cottage-pie/

So I was excited to get my result back from the York Test, this is the food intolerance test, testing for protein food intolerances so unfortunately it didn't test for my lactose as it is sugar. It turns out that I am one of the few percent that had absolutely no food intolerances what so ever, which is music to my ears as coeliacs is enough to deal with! So very happy about the results.

Restaurant Hangout of the Week

Located in the very trendy area of Shoreditch is 100 Hoxton, serving tapas style dishes, this restaurant is great, plus they have lots options for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.

The restaurant itself is really cute and quirky, with bare brick walls and cosy booth type sofas, you will feel right at home. The menu is lovely, there are lots of dishes to choose from so you will be spoilt for choice. We started with the burnt aubergine salad, accompanied with apple, tomatoes, coconut and hazelnuts, this dish was full of flavour and absolutely delicious, the coconut really comes through which is nice teamed with the aubergine. Up next was the Chargrilled Lamb Belly which was served with aubergine, burnt goat's cheese, pine nuts, green tahini and harissa, so many flavours going through this dish and I have to say although I am not a massive red meat eater, I really did enjoy the flavours. Another of my favourites was this quinoa and feta salad, it had hints of apple and mint in it which went really well together, I would have never thought of putting those flavours together but I will in future, it works really well. Overall a delicious meal with so many options, my family ordered other dishes such as the courgette and halloumi fritter and soft shell crab but unfortunately they were not gluten free.
