Hello Everyone,

So last week was manic! Every year the Allergy and Free From Show place themselves in London Olympia where many people come and visit from all across the country. They are also teamed up with the V (Vegan) and Natural Show so there is always plenty to see, eat and discover. I was exhibiting this year with Biteappy for my second year in a row and I always have such a wonderful time, meeting new people and discussing and sharing stories to help each other!

There were lots of great brands this year, some of my all time favourites which include Pudology, they have fantastic gluten and dairy free puds, you must try them! We were next to Ms. Cupcake which is an all vegan bakery from London, she also does lots of wonderful gluten-free cupcakes too. Pure Recharge, a fairly new brand with their vegan, gluten and dairy free smoothie pouches! Plus a little celeb spot of Jamie Laing from Made In Chelsea selling his gluten free sweets called Candy Kittens.

If you didn't manage to go this year to London, they have one in Liverpool and Glasgow coming up, otherwise come next year and join the fun!

I spoke to many people over the Allergy Show and one of the issues that was coming up was that they couldn't find a dairy and soya free chocolate so this week I am sharing my raw chocolate recipe which is free from both!

Restaurant Hangout of the Week

When I was in London I managed to go to a 100% vegetarian restaurant called Mildred's in Soho. I had heard a lot of good things about it and have always wanted to pop in and try it. They also have lots of gluten free and vegan options so they do cater for a range of dietary requirements. Although it looks small from the outside they had a surprisingly large amount of seating available. We did still have to queue for 45 minutes, the don't let you go away and come back so you can enjoy their delicious cocktails and mocktails while you wait.

The food menu is great, lots of options one there and I do love picky bits so I went for two starters and then a side of guacamole with black gluten free corn chips. I also tried the broad bean and mint dip with corn chips which was equally as delicious. The novelty was the pudding menu I could have two or three things on here which is usually not the case! I went for the passion fruit crème brulee which was divine. The restaurant is really busy and got a great atmosphere I recommend checking it out if you are ever Soho way!
