Valentine’s Day: Indulge in an Aphrodisiac Trail

Food North Wales have set up an Aphrodisiac Trail to help you celebrate this Valentine’s Day in style.

If you’re a big foodie then this trip is a must for you, combining a number of aphrodisiacs with romantic settings.

Firstly, you and your partner can check out the Mushroom Garden. Mushrooms are known for their aphrodisiac qualities and are used by chefs all around the world for this very reason.

You and your partner can handpick exotic mushrooms in the beautiful and serene surroundings.

No aphrodisiac trail would be complete without a bit of chocolate to get your senses heightened to perfection.

The Denbigh Chocolate Shop not only has a range of amazing and high quality chocolate but also offers a range of foods.

Baravelli’s in the lovely coastal town of Conwy offers a range of homemade chocolates, including luxurious Chocstix for the creamiest hot chocolate.

Meanwhile, Hawarden Estate Farm Shop offers Kokonoir Chocolates, which are made with a special blend of cacao beans from around the world.

Nothing says aphrodisiac more than oysters, so if this Valentine’s Day is all about the wow factor, the Oyster Catcher restaurant in Rhosneigr will not disappoint.

Enjoy an award winning meal for two in a unique and very romantic setting overlooking the beautiful Maelog Lake, one of Anglesey’s most picturesque spots.
