The game developers broke the news to fans at Anime Expo over the weekend, when they revealed they would be creating video games out of two popular Netflix-exclusive anime series, 'Little Witch Academia' and 'The Seven Deadly Sins'.

Both games are due for release in 2018, with 'Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time', a beat-'em-up game with an original storyline inspired by the anime, launching first early in the year for PlayStation 4 and PC consoles.

'The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia' is also launching for PlayStation 4 in early 2018, and will be an action-adventure based on the show, and will also mark the first console game adaptation of the manga and anime series.

It comes as Bandai Namco revealed in April they were working on a "challenging action-RPG" game titled 'Code Vein', which they stated would be coming to "major home consoles" next year.

In a statement the developers said of the game: "In this challenging action-RPG, 'Code Vein' finds players assuming the role of a Revenant. After stumbling into Vein, players are tasked to embark into the world with a companion picked from the various residents of Vein to uncover lost memories and an exit out of this new demented reality. The world of 'Code Vein' is dangerous, full of vicious enemies and monstrous bosses to put players' combat skills to the test."

As of yet, there has been no confirmed release date for the title as the website for the game states the project is still "under development", with more information to be released in the future.

There are also no official release dates for 'Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time' or 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia' at this time.
