Bethesda have today announced that Machine Games, in collaboration with Arkane Studios Lyon, will release the first video game in the Wolfenstein series created for an audience who play together, rather than on a solo adventure.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood will throw two players back in time to 1980s Paris, fighting against the Reich's war machine as one of BJ Blazkowicz's twin daughters; either Jess or Soph.

This is a game created with cooperation in mind, but for those who do prefer their singular playstyle, an AI companion can be brought on board to obliterate the Nazi enemies whilst searching for your missing father.

An amazing feature of the upcoming game is the Buddy Pass. This means that those who buy the Deluxe Edition of Youngblood will be able to partner up with a friend in online play, even if that friend doesn't own a copy of the game.

The Buddy Pass can be provided to one friend at a time, allowing them to download the full game so long as they're playing with the original owner of the Deluxe Edition. Anyone playing on a Buddy Pass can pay to upgrade to the full game at any time, if they wish to play alone or with others online.

A further bonus included in the Deluxe Edition is the Cyborg Skin Pack, which provides the sisters with titanium alloy versions of their Power Suit, guns, hatchets and combat knives.

You'll play as one of BJ Blazkowicz's twin daughters, Jess or Soph
