What many thought would come at BlizzCon 2018 turned up at BlizzCon 2019, kicking off the show and proving that the fanbase is still thirsty for an exciting new Diablo game.

Diablo IV is described as "darkness, world and legacy". In the launch cinematic for what looks to be the most horror-heavy entry in the series yet, fans got a glimpse at a group who at first seemed to be working together to uncover treasures, but quickly were proved to be a handful of rogues, and one unwitting man who wanted to be anywhere but on the descent to Hell.

Gamers won't just be able to team-up in the new Diablo game, but take each other on in player-versus-player zones.

Newbies are also being promised that if they jump in at Diablo IV, they'll be able to feel like they've been a lifelong fan.

The Barbarian, Sorceress and Druid were the first three classes to be announced, with more reveals on the way leading up to release.

A gameplay trailer for the title also dropped, which you can check out below:

Diablo IV has been developed for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
