A little earlier this year, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy made its way from PlayStation 4 to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam, and we couldn't resist jumping into the action all over again to see how well the game would port on over to other platforms! What took us by surprise however, is just how brilliant the Crash titles play on Switch! With all of that in mind, we've decided to put together a list of 5 reasons you should be playing Crash Bandicoot on the Nintendo Switch.

Crash is back, and now available to play on Nintendo Switch!

5. Playing in handheld is lots of fun

In the past, we've only had the opportunity to play the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy using a controller and looking across at a screen, but now we can jump into the fun all in the palm of our hands! This honestly makes you feel like you're getting a better, more rounded experience. As all fans know, every jump and movement of your joystick counts in Crash, and this is amplified when playing handheld. It means you'll kick yourself harder when you make a mistake, but those victories feel bigger than ever before!

4. The graphics are great

Though there's a SMALL amount of a downgrade when it comes to the graphics, it doesn't take away anything from the overall experience of gameplay. They're still crisp and beautiful enough to envelop you in Crash's world and have you feeling as though you are a genuine part of the action.

3. The D-pad is easier to use

When we played N. Sane Trilogy on the PlayStation 4, we tried to use the D-pad but eventually opted to go back to the analogue stick. Obviously, when we played this series on PlayStation and PlayStation 2, the D-pad was the only option, so moving to analogue stick felt a little strange at first. Fortunately, on Switch, using the D-pad is easier than ever before because of its placement!

2. It's just crazy fun

Let's face it: there isn't a huge selection of incredible games to play on the Nintendo Switch, so to see Crash Bandicoot now available on the platform means we've got another gem to add to our collection!

1. This could be the perfect place for Crash's future

If there are to be completely new Crash Bandicoot games released in the future, it's hard to deny that the Switch would serve as the perfect home for those titles. We've seen how brilliant platformers can be on the console, and with the ability to play either handheld or on your big screen, Switch owners are given a versatility that we've never seen before with this series.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is out now on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. For the ULTIMATE Crash Bandicoot gaming experience, why not play with the gorgeous Wumpa Fruit candle burning in the background? Just remember to blow it out when you're done with your platforming session! Or, there's the stress crate for those extra tricky levels...
