According to Tom's Guide, who attended the CES 2017 exhibition, the kids-only Disney TV streaming box is expected to run like Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Google Chromecast but will offer Disney shows and child-friendly features by simply plugging it into the television without the fear of accessing adult channels.

Snakebyte is tasked with manufacturing the device, it has experience in making gaming controllers, and will run on Google's Android OS.

But it's not just Disney TV and movies the can be accessed. The device will contain a series of video games from Disney - whose official mascot is Mickey Mouse - with the opportunity to download more.

Users will have to plug in a controller and Snakebyte is working on a Disney-themed controller as we speak but other Bluetooth controllers will work equally as good.

In addition, users will be able to plays music and look at photos when the device is released in 2017.

It is expected to cost $99 in the US but a UK price is still be be confirmed.
