On February 3rd, 2022, Bethesda released a YouTube clip that showcases the gameplay for upcoming action-adventure game, Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Players can now get a more in-depth look at the forthcoming supernatural thriller; Ghostwire: Tokyo is an engaging and incredible adventure that takes players through a clever, exciting reimagining of one of the world’s most amazing cities.
The game is set to challenge players to master the mysterious arts of Ethereal Weaving while battling to defeat the ominous and threatening Hannya, as well as his followers, the Visitors, who have invaded the city of Tokyo.
These beyond-Earthly entities roam the streets of Tokyo, which creates a dark, intriguing atmosphere for players who wish to explore the secrets of Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Players will be in a world full of interesting characters from the wonders of Japanese folklore, legends and stories; these tales have had an impact on the creatures that will be seen in Ghostwire: Tokyo, lending the title a sense of authentic Japanese culture.
Created by the inventive minds at Tango Gameworks, players will traverse Tokyo’s modern cityscape, discover iconic landmarks, as well as uncover secrets hidden within.
Those who venture off the beaten path will be met with charming and interesting characters in need of assistance; optional stories in Ghostwire: Toyko are not the usual side content fare, but rather lovable tales that further flesh out the game’s world and vision.
The newly-released gameplay trailer for Ghostwire: Tokyo highlights just how beautiful games can be, with stunning visuals that include lighting and colour, as well as what seems to be intense and thrilling first-person combat.
Players can also catch a glimpse of the beasts that have infected Tokyo; there are many enemies to beware of, however, it seems that players will have plenty of ways to defeat anything that crosses their path.
It appears as though the playable character in Ghostwire: Tokyo has abilities, or supernatural powers, which players can utilise to defeat the evil that plagues the beautiful city of Tokyo.
Ghostwire: Tokyo will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5 and PC on March 25, 2022; PS5 players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game will gain early access to the game on March 22nd, 2022, and will also obtain the Streetwear Outfit Pack, Shinobi Outfit, and Kunai Weapon.
