A resume supposedly belonging to Tim Neff - who previously worked on 'GTA 5' - has appeared online suggesting he was involved in the hotly-anticipated sequel, but he has set the record straight, insisting that is not the case and the CV is "super fake".

In a series of tweets, he wrote: "Yeah it's super fake. Trolls

"The main issue is I don't even have a breakdownexpress account so I don't know who made that (sic)"

The fake CV also claimed Los Angeles-based Tim had been working on 'Red Dead Redemption 2', but he has also denied that.

Tim did admit he has worked on 'Grand Theft Auto 5' "a long time ago" though.

In March, a gaming website suggested 'GTA 6' was still a raw plan because bosses were trying to make the most out of its 'GTA V' success and that Rockstar Games were busy focusing on 'Red Dead Redemption 2'.

It was also denied that Ryan Gosling would be lending his vocal talents to 'GTA 6'.

While 'Grand Theft Auto 5' was released nearly four years ago in September 2013, it continues to perform well in sales charts.

The title was the best-selling physical game in the first half of 2017.
