The company - which has already working with SkyBox Labs on the game - has enlist the California studio as it looks to get some help with the next generation title.

In a press release, the firm revealed: "For 'Halo Infinite,' the Sperasoft team is contributing to the game's content across multiple development mandates, developing components of the game and experience - working closely with our new partners at 343."

Denis Larkin - Sperasoft's Chief Commercial Officer - added in a statement: "It's an honour to contribute to the most famous FPS series in the world and to support the next generation of the 'Halo' franchise.

"Our development teams are thrilled with our 343 Industries collaboration on the anticipated upcoming release: 'Halo Infinite.' "

In the past, the studio has contributed to the likes 'Anthem', 'Rainbow Six Siege', 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' and many more.

Playing down fears about the collaboration, 'Halo' community manager John Junyszek tweeted: "As a few others have said in the replies, it's normal for big games these days [to have co-developers] and Sperasoft are pros.

"Additionally, as noted, they've been partnered with us for a while."
