The gaming industry is now thriving for the 4th decade and it has got the whole world constricted in its grasp, and it has only been getting better and better. There was a time when video games weren’t respected as much as films but the story is quite different today. Many of us believe the gaming industry will be far more accomplished than the film industry in a decade and that is for many firm reasons, where the main video games like Runescape and New World that have the well known currencies OSRS Gold and New World Coins which makes these games so famous.

The most prominent reason is gaming is making way more money than the film industry according to many surveys and resources. The gaming industry has boomed recently because of the increasing variety of video games and ways to play them which is attracting players from almost every corner of the world.

It has been quite a while now that we have been seeing Movie Actors being featured in video games. Characters of video games have been voiced by actors and actresses for long but now the Movie stars are actually being featured as a whole character in video games. The most recent one is the John Wick star Keanu Reeves being featured in the Cyberpunk 2077, although he isn’t a playable character but he has been seen in the game. Along with him there are a huge number of stars that have made an appearance in a video game and that proves how the gaming industry has evolved and is by far the better one in recent times.

Video Games have been around for years now providing the best entertainment possible for adults and children alike. From pixelated side scrolling video games to surrealistic lifelike ones that we see today, video game industry has come a long way. The gaming industry involves costs and earning over billions of dollars and which is why the world of movies is trying to get a piece of the pie. Movies are now borrowing a lot of technology from video games to produce computer generated realism that blows away the obstacle of pulling off impossible stunts in films. There was a time when there used to be real sets for a specific scene and all that can now be done in a green room. The Hollywood involvement that we have got to see in video games does have positive effects as well as some minor negative ones to me.

There was a time when the games wanted to emulate films but now it is very much the other way around. Involvement of movie actors in video games helps in combining a different fan base with the gaming fan base which obviously improves the sales and surely has a positive effect on the games. I mean Keanu Reeves is a big name in the film industry; the attention that his name alone gets in the game is quite a plus point in the success of the game.

We have seen a large number of movie actors feature in videogames like Rami Malek (Until Dawn), Norman Reedus (Death Stranding) and many others. Featuring movie stars in video games psychologically increases the level of expectation to a point where it becomes really hard to match and we haven’t seen many games countering this hurdle that had a movie star involved.

Sometimes the reputation that a star has outside the video game is far better than in game and that leads people to overlooking the part the actor plays in videogame. I have personally experienced the fact as I loved Admiral Salen Kotch Call of Duty and later realized he was Kit Harrington, the Game of Thrones Star. With all that said, the merger of the film industry in gaming is a really fascinating thing to look up to and I personally feel like the whole concept is going to do so better in future. The idea of being in the shoes of a Hollywood star in an interactive world where you control things isn’t all bad. I mean I would personally love playing Tom Cruise making him steal cars and punch people in the face or maybe get him hit by a train or jump off planes, seems like fun doesn’t it?.
