PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can pre-qualify to compete in the upcoming contestt which uses the 5-on-5 NBA-style gameplay feature on the MyTEAM Unlimited Mode on NBA 2K21 and allows users to choose any 13 cards from their Collection.

Players can enter the tournament by pre-qualifying at the beginning of the new MyTEAM Season feature, which includes new daily, weekly and seasonal-based challenges and prizes for players to unlock.

In order to qualify for one of four GameDays - where they will go head-to-head to earn the highest score by playing a series of qualifying matches - players must reach the Emerald Unlimited tier in Unlimited Mode.

The first pre-qualifying period is already underway with users playing from September 4 until the first GameDay on October 10.

They will later be given another chance to pre-qualify in the second period from October 16 to November 21, again on November 27 until January 2, and the final slot from January 8 until the tournament ends on February 6.

The top four competitors with the highest score on both Xbox and PlayStation will compete against each other in the final MyTeam Tournament on February 2, where 32 players will battle it out to eliminate each other until one player from both console families is left standing.

The two best console players will then compete in the final Championship on March 6 in hopes of winning the cash prize with $200,000 going to the winner and the runner up will receive $50,000.

Players from across the world can enter the competition, but be over 18 years of age and own either a Xbox One or PlayStation 4 as well as the 'NBA 2K21' game.
