Crown Prince Noctis has been announced as the latest playable character for the upcoming title Dissida Final Fantasy NT.

The favourite amongst gamers will be part of a line-up of more than 20 characters from the iconic video game franchise's 30 year history, with Square Enix Ltd. making the exciting announcement this week at the 2017 PlayStation Press Conference in Japan.
The news was revealed in a brand new trailer for the title, which is being developed in partnership with veteran fighting game studio, Team NINJA from Koei Tecmo Games.
In the teaser video, Noctis can be seen defeating his enemies with some familiar looking attacks and iconic set of weapons, while it also reveals why the heroes are coming together to save the world of Dissidia.
New battle rules were confirmed to offer players a number of challenges, while the trailer also detailed a newly refined HUD.
The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 console on 30th January 2018.
In addition to the standard release, an Ultimate Collector's Edition will also be available through the Square Enix online store.
It will feature a soundtrack featuring 15 tracks from the Dissidia game series, a Warrior of Light bust figure, an 80-page hardback art book, and a season pass giving gamers access to six new playable characters and further post launch content.
