The fourth instalment of the popular simulation video game was first released for PC systems back in 2014, and after a long wait, a product page on the Microsoft Store seemingly claims the game will finally be coming to the Xbox One on November 17.

However, according to GameSpot.com, there has been no official announcement from publishers EA Games or from developers at Maxis, so it is believed the store's page could simply be a listing error on Microsoft's part.

As of the time of writing it is also unknown if the game will ever come to other consoles such as Sony's PlayStation, or how much the console version will cost if the listing is accurate.

It is also unknown if the Xbox version of the game will include all the current updates available on the PC version, which recently saw the addition of playable toddlers earlier this year.

Speaking about the recent update at the time, executive producer Lyndsay Pearson said: "I'm not exaggerating when I say we've been talking about this particular update for years. We just had to find the right time, resources, and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing toddlers to life. And believe me when I say it has been really really difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right."

'The Sims 4' has also released three expansion packs so far which give users access to more items, as well as new worlds to explore.

The 'Get To Work' expansion allows players to give their sim one of three jobs - detective, doctor, or scientist - and travel with them to complete their daily tasks, 'Get Together' gives sims the option of forming a group with their close friends, whilst 'City Living' enables players to house their sim in a brand new city.
