Nintendo of Europe and SEGA of Europe have confirmed this week that a new distribution agreement has been made for the forthcoming Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice game, scheduled to exclusively release for the Nintendo 3DS system this Winter.
Racing once more, the game will introduce "more adventure, speed, exploration, and an all-new fire and ice gameplay element that will help propel the action."
Sonic returns of course alongside Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Sticks in a title that hopes to bring a new experience to gamers by infusing fire and ice elements through gameplay, enabling new special character moves and interactions with environments.
Then there's Dr. Eggman and all-new super villain D-Fekt, doing their best to gain power and bring the world to its knees.
The game will also introduce Bot Racing, a supplemental game tied to the single player storyline with multiplayer gameplay. Purely about racing and speed, users can unlock character themed Bots to challenge friends on different courses or tracks.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice will be available for the Nintendo 3DS across Europe this Winter.
