Larry Hryb, who is the director of programming for Xbox Live, announced the exciting news the video game will be released on social media on Tuesday (14.03.17).

Hryb tweeted: "'Styx: Shards of Darkness' from @CyanideStudio and @FocusHome is now available for Xbox One".

The team of developers at Cyanide Studios decided to bring back the stealth adventure programme as a follow-up to 'Styx: Master of Shadows' follow-up.

Gamers can hire 'Styx: Shards of Darkness', which will see them undergo undergo a variety of missions and explore a number of huge environments either alone, or in a team with other players or friends.

The new game has been devised to enable players to sneak past enemies, including humans, elves and dwarfs, as well as more fearsome colossal creatures, experiment with the array of lethal abilities and weapons in their goblin assassin's arsenal and assassinate their opponents.

Gamers can also explore, recover artifacts and ingredients to craft deadly traps and useful items, and create clones of themselves to deceive their enemies, as well as spend experience points in assassination, infiltration, magic, to learn new skills and improve their abilities.

The video game is published by Focus Home Interactive.
