The park will feature rides, shows and other sorts of exciting and appealing attractions, all built around the games and characters from Ubisoft's huge roster of stars and titles.

Jean de Rivières said of the park: "Ubisoft's intention for this park is to immerse people in reactive worlds where they can interact with each other and become the heroes of their own life-sized game."

Ubisoft will be producing all digital media for the park as well as dictating which attractions will be included, but Malaysias theme-park developer RSG will go on to handle the day-to-day.

RSG Chairman Ramelle Ramli said: "RSG is committed to redefining family fun, and video games have taken an increasingly central role in entertainment for all ages.

"Partnering with Ubisoft means we'll work with their creative teams to develop the first of what we believe will be a revolutionary new theme park experience. We are confident that this partnership agreement highly benefits both parties and consolidates our presence in the global family entertainment market."
