As we’ve entered the fourth week of lockdown, you might start to feel extremely weird, disconnected, stressed, anxious.

Raiki Healing facts

Raiki Healing facts

While we navigate uncharted waters together, I thought it would be really nice to share some information about Reiki, as you might have never heard about it yet!

1) Reiki is a healing technique

Reiki is an ancient healing technique founded in Japan in the early 1900’s, which balances the energy flow in the body and accelerates its own ability to heal. It treats and clears out physical, mental and emotional blockages and brings a sense of peace and connection within the Universe and your Inner Self.

2) Reiki is a no-intrusive practice

During a session, the practitioner gently places the hands in various part on or near the body, whilst the recipient remains fully clothed and lies down on a bed or sits on a chair.

3) Reiki can be learned by everyone

Reiki courses are open to everyone and people don’t need any specific background or credentials to book themselves into a course. There are 3 courses, Reiki 1 and 2 and then the final, Master course.

4) Reiki can be done remotely

During the Reiki 2 course, students learn the Connection symbol, which allows to send healing energy beyond time a space limitations. A distant session is as effective as face-to-face one, even though it doesn’t include any physical touch - if you want to try one session, feel free to contact me at www.carlottareiki.com !

5) Reiki can be done on animals

As with humans, Reiki can benefit animals with behavioral problems and help them phisically, mentally and emotionally. There are plenty of Reiki animal sanctuaries around the UK, you can contact Animal Reiki Care for additional information – www.animalreikicare.com

6) Reiki can improve sleep

As Reiki helps to relax the body and to reduce stress, people usually feel extremely light after a session and thoughts automatically reduce. This helps a lot to establish better sleep patterns and therefore, a deep sleep.

6) Reiki is used in NHS

Reiki is now available in lots of hospitals throughout UK, including the University College Hospital in London, and is used alongside the traditional techniques.

The surreal situation we’re all experiencing with the current pandemic has changed everything, and everyone.

Due to the Coronavirus, all Reiki practitioners have been invited to stop face-to-face sessions but are currently operating distant healing. A remote Reiki session is a fabulous way to relax and heal your body and mind, and boost your energy throughout these uncertain times.
