The weather is starting to perk up and that means our legs will be making an appearance anytime soon. That means we need to get them looking toned and lean.

Here we have four exercises that will help tone your legs.

Running: Running is the perfect way to keep your legs toned and looking health but not becoming too muscular. You can gain a little bit extra toning to your calves, hamstrings, quadriceps and also your bum with short but regular runs.

Squats can help tone the bum too

Squats/lunges: These are essential for toned legs, and they can be done with additional weight or just using your body weight. Doing squats and lunges will help to keep your legs healthy and toned. They can be tough by you really feel the benefit and see a difference within a few sessions. You should do 4 sets of 10 squats and 4 sets of 8 lunges for each leg.

Keep your front knee behind the toe for healthy joints

Calve Raises: Do 3 sets of 10 calve raises approximately 2-3 times a week and see and feel the difference it makes to your legs.
