Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 , Steve Lawler, Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells and Steve Aoki are the latest acts to be confirmed for GlobalGathering’s 10th Anniversary line up. They will join headliners Faithless and Dizzee Rascal at the UK’s premier dance music festival on the 30th and 31st July 2010 in Stratford-upon Avon.

Hotly tipped to be the next Prodigy, Italian outfit Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 specialise in electro. Often compared to Justice, they wear black Venom masks while performing and have been creating a serious buzz in the blogosphere since their inception in 2006, their performance at GlobalGathering this year has to be witnessed as the band are phenomenal live.

A child of the acid house generation, Steve Lawler will be bringing his own blend of house, techno and electronica to proceedings. From organizing raves under the M42 to heading up his own successful label, via legendary residencies at Space and Cream, the “King of Space” has the credentials to get the crowd whipped into a frenzy.

International DJ, producer and label boss Sander Kleinenberg will grace the Main Stage for the very first time at this year’s landmark 10th anniversary GlobalGathering festival. For all of you who caught Sander smash the Bedrock tent last year, get ready to let him blow you away again with exclusive never heard before cuts from his forthcoming self-titled début artist album ‘5K’ and his unparalleled custom built visual display designed to compliment GlobalGathering’s elaborate stage and lighting rig amazingly.

Also on the extended line-up is Danny Howells. Born in Hastings, where he honed his skills at the town’s very own Bedrock, Danny’s unique, eclectic sound has established him as one of the top DJ’s in the world. Alongside successful compilations, international tours and residencies at top clubs across the globe, Danny has earned himself a reputation as an entertainer that loves to connect with the audience, ensuring a performance the Global Gathering crowd are bound to revel in. 

Legendary DJ and Dim Mak Records founder Steve Aoki is an undisputed major player in the dance music scene who scored a huge hit in March this year with I’m in the House. A collaboration with Zuper Blahq - alter-ego of Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am, the single reached no. 3 in the UK dance chart. Via Dim Mak, Aoki has released music from Bloc Party, The Kills, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Mystery Jets, The Rakes and The Gossip and is the man behind the moniker Weird Science that has remixed tracks from artists including Peaches, Snoop Dogg & Bloc Party.

Over 50,000 dance music fans will pour through the Stratford-upon-Avon gates to experience the colossal tenth birthday event. Taking place in Shakespeare’s country at the height of summer, over 150 of the most exciting DJ’s in the world will take to the 16 stages to keep the crowds dancing through the two day festival. 

Alongside the greatest names in electronic music, the GlobalGathering crowds will experience some of the most jaw-dropping, state-of-the-art visuals of any festival this year. Following its successful debut in 2009, the Godskitchen Boombox is back by popular demand. The incredible rectangular structure will be home to some of the biggest names at this year’s event. As well as housing the latest DJ equipment it will act as a giant screen from which an astounding combination of lighting, LED’s and visuals will be projected in perfect synchronization with the music.

For those wishing to enjoy the two-day camping festival whilst returning at night to the lap of luxury, GlobalGathering has a selection of VIP packages on offer in their lavish camping area; Luxury Camping @ Cloud9. Set in tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the festival, people can either bring their own campervan or choose from accommodation ranging from Gypsy Bow Caravans to Tipi’s, Podpads, Kacoons and more.
