Lady GaGa has revealed the secret reasons behind her skimpy stage outfits - she wants her Grandmother to see her.
The singer chooses to wear tiny hotpants and see-through outfits because her grandmother, who is partially sighted, finds lighter shades easier to see.
GaGa told Rolling Stone magazine: "My grandmother is basically blind, but she can make out the lighter parts, like my skin and hair. She says, 'I can see you, because you have no pants on.' So I'll continue to wear no pants so that my grandma can see me."
GaGa is planning to spread the trend for skimpy outfits with her own clothing line. She said: "I can't wait to do my own line. It's definitely something I want to do in the next year as I do have my own style."
We're sure Grandma GaGa is the first grandparent used as an excuse to wear flesh-flashing clothes. If we tried her look we're sure it wouldn't go down quite as well with our own Grandma!
