Australia’s hottest new export, psychedelic dream pop foursome Tame Impala , today announce a three-date UK tour for October. The Perth residents follow a recent sold-out London Cargo show and last weekend’s UK festival debut at Reading and Leeds with the following shows:
Tuesday 26 October: Birmingham, O2 Academy 3
Wednesday 27 October: Manchester, Ruby Lounge
Thursday 28 October: London, Heaven
A new single, Lucidity, will be released on 30th August through Modular Records, the forward-thinking independent label, which is home to Ladyhawke, Cut Copy and many more. The track is lifted from their critically acclaimed debut LP.
Available to purchase as an mp3, Lucidity is a harmony-laden fuzz rock gem that has earned Kevin Parker, Dom Simper, Jay Watson and Nick Allbrook comparisons to the legends (Cream and Blue Cheer) as well as the new breed (Dungen and Comets on Fire). The single release will also include a remix by French knob-twiddler Pilooski, best known for his re-edit of The Four Season’s Beggin.
