While Michelle wowed in the UK last week, how would she fair when pitted against the equally stylish Carla Bruni-Sarkozy?
Well, the gloves were well and truly off as the pair posed together at the NATO summit in Strasbourg over the weekend, as the first round of style wars began.
Mrs O went for a colourful Thakoon red and black floral coat, with matching dress for the occasion and looked absolutely stunning, if we do say so ourselves!
Meanwhile, Carla went for a gorgeous dove-grey pussybow coat, which according to Grazia was from Christian Dior Fall 09 collection, and cost a eye watering £4,100.
So much for the Sarkozy's cutting back on their spending!
