Ella Eyre "wouldn't be seen dead" in a babydoll dress.

The 'If I Go' singer doesn't like "cute" outfits and tries to stay away from short hem lines as she doesn't feel they flatter her curvy frame.

She told Look magazine: "I like bold prints and patterns and lots of black, white and red.

"Nothing too cute or flowery. I wouldn't be seen dead in a babydoll dress, put it that way.

"I'm a size eight but slightly curvier than your average size eight so I don't wear short skirts. I prefer my clothes to be a little oversized.

"And I love accessorising with chunky gold jewellery."

When it comes to her stage outfits, Ella prefers catsuits because they are so comfortable and admits her casual wear is also chosen because of how she feels rather than how she looks.

She explained: "Catsuits are my favourite things and Pam Hogg does amazing ones. I'd rather be comfortable than show off skin.

"On an off day I like loose-fitting dresses and big, cosy, oversized jumpers.

"My moments on stage can be quite animalistic so I like the idea of sinking into something comfortable where I don't have to worry about things slipping out."
