When it comes to celebrity bums there's one reality TV star who trumps them all.

Kim Kardashian has the best bottom in the world, according to new research conducted by cosmetic surgery group Longevita.

The reality star achieved 45% of the total requests for celebrity bum procedures during the last 12 months, relegating diminutive pop princess Kylie into second place and pipping songstress Beyonce, who came third in the vote, to the title.

Kylie's bum may become have an overnight global sensation when she barely covered it in those now legendary gold hotpants for her Spinning Around video in July 2000 and Beyonce's dedication to using her amazing figure in every second of her pop videos notable, but neither could stop Kim's remarkable ascent to top spot.

Almost half of all Brit females who enquired about improving their bum via cosmetic surgery cited Kim as their role model for the perfect posterior.

So popular is Kim Kardashian's shapely bottom that during the last year it has become one of the biggest trends in cosmetic surgery and is now referred to simply as 'The Kim'.

Longevita plastic surgeon Prof. Dr. Fuat Yuksel, said: "Kim has been popular among women seeking butt augmentation or 'Brazilian Butt Lifts' as they are more commonly known, for a few years, but in the last 12 months we've had a massive rise in the numbers asking for a Kim Kardashian bum. The procedure is peformed through liposuctioned fatty tissue being injected into the buttocks

"Kim has risen from just outside the Top 10 to No.1 position in record time and is a firm favourite among women in the UK, and elsewhere around the world.

"The Brazilian lift is now one of the most highly sought-after procedures we do - we've seen a 200% increase in the number of UK enquiries for this procedure in the last 12 months alone. British women love beauties like Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian who have bigger bums and are not afraid to flaunt it."

Longevita's Top 10 Celebrity Bums Chart has been compiled based on the most cited celebrities by women requesting cosmetic surgery to improve the way their rear end looks.

And bigger is quite clearly better in 2014.
