Jennifer Lawrence looked beautiful in Haute Couture Dior

So, the big night arrived, the Oscars 2013. We're happy for Jennifer Lawrence, Ben Affleck and Adele - in fact, all of the winners, but now onto the more important things, the style choices of the evening.

Here we pick out our best dressed of the evening.

Jennifer Lawrence, one of the big winners of the evening, was also the big winner in the style department too. She wore a Dior Haute Couture gown.

The voluminous strapless gown fitted her perfectly, she added some beautiful Chopard jewels to her look, finishing it with a delicate necklace which she wore falling down her back - definitely a jewellery trend that's going to pick up.

Anne Hathway's necklace also freatured a back drop detail, the Tiffany & Co flower detail jewels looked beautiful, but the criss cross detail on the back of the dress made it all a little too fussy.

She chose a simple Prada column dress, a very surprising choice considering her close relationship with designer Valentino.

Halle Berry redeemed herself last night in a beautiful silver and black Versace gown, we can defintiely forget about her Golden Globes mistake now.

The striped sequinned gown featured a low v-neck, but this was balanced by the length and the long sleeves.

Adele looked beautiful in a black embellised Jenny Packham gown, she paired the look with big hair and a bold red pout.

Amy Adams, like Jennifer Lawrence, went for a big gown, choosing Oscar de la Renta.

The fitted, pleated bodice with sweetheart neckline looked beautiful and then the huge layered, feathery tulle skirt compelted this fairytale gown.

Simple small jewels, minimal make-up and a twisted updo compelted this pretty look.

Sandra Bullock chose a black column Elie Saab Couture gown last night, and looked beautiful in it.

Jennifer Garner's plum-coloured Gucci gown was another of my favourites. The custom column gown was a standout with the beautiful dramatic ruffles on the back of the dress. She paired the look with a slightly messy updo and $2.5million worth of Neil Lane jewels.

Jessica Chastain once again this Awards season wore a figure fitting dress, and chose a beautiful custom Armani Prive nude and gold gown.

The look screamed true Hollywood starlet with her simplistic gown, 1920s curls and bold red pout.

Naomi Watts continued her long run of gorgeous choices too, and see was also wearing a custom Armani Prive gown.

The pewter sequinned gown fitted her perfectly and the interesting cut out detail stood out from the classic strapless style we see so much on the red carpet.

Kerry Washington wore one of the more bolder gowns on the red carpet last night in her coral coloured Miu Miu dress.

The bustier dress features a beautiful embellishment and sequinned detail across the bust.

Sally Field chose a red Valentino gown with long sleeves, the Lincoln actress has had an amazing run on the red carpet lately, choosing both stylish and age appropriate pieces.

Charlize Theron lookoed perfect in her white strapless, peplum Dior Couture gown.

The intricate embellishment detail was a pretty touch to the look.

Jennifer Aniston was presenting last night at the Oscars, her first time there in four years. She went for a big and bold Valentino gown, and for once she wasn't wearing black. The simple red gown was compelted in true Jennifer style with simple hair and jewels.

Amanda Seyfried looked beautiful in her custom Alexander McQueen gown. The lilac halterneck gown featured a keyole cut-out and dragonfly embellishment all over.

The etheral look was finished with a simple updo and natural make-up, Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed this beautiful look.

Samantha Barks went simple in her black plunging Valentino gown. One of the more understated looks of the evening, but she looked beautiful none-the-less.

Fan Bingbing went bold in her cerise Marchesa gown. The huge gown is made beautifully with a architectural design on the bust. If anyone can carry off such a bold look, it is definitely Fan.

Finally, Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet last night in a stunning Alexis Mabille Couture gown. The strapless white dress features an embellished floral neckline, forgetting the uneccessary belt, it was the hemline that had me fawning over the look. The layered tulle ombre detail was just beautiful.

Who was your favourite of the evening?
