Helen Hunt's dress was let down by the creases

Whilst there were some beautiful dressed at the Oscars last night, read my Best Dressed list here, there were some shockers too.

As can usually be expected there were some forgettable, boring and downright ugly looks on the Oscars 2013 Red Carpet.

Helen Hunt chose beautiful diamond jewels from Martin Katz, she had a beautiful hairstyle and wore minimal make-up but this was all overrode by the fact her H&M dress needed a good steam.

The actress chose a custom made dress from the high street brand, helping to support their ethical global green initiative.

The style of the dress is beautiful too, although it could have fitted her at the waist a little better, but the whole thing was let down by the numerous creases.

Kelly Rowland went for an on-trend Monochrome look, but the whole thign screamed try-hard. Channelling Angelina Jolie with 'the leg' in her Donna Karan Atelier dress it just didn't work.

Brandi Glanville also looked disastrous and left us all wondering why exactly she was attending the Oscars. She wore a ill-fitting stone-coloured gown from her own fashion label, Brand B.

The bustier dress features a low cut, which barely clings on to her breasts, and a thigh-split with an ugly ruffle design.

Again, this look was looking for attention, and gained none for the right reasons.

Helena Bonham Carter wore a tierred Vivienne Westwood gown, which would have most likely looked beautiful on someone who hadn't styled it with unkempt hair and gothic make-up.

Like Helen Hunt's look, Naomie Harris got everything right except for one small niggling detail. The thigh-high split. It was just too much.

If she moved slightly I'm sure we would have gotten a clear view of her lady business.

The rest of the look however was beautiful. The curls, the gold sandals, the Vivienne Westwood Eco gown was simply gorgeous, but the slit was just far too much.

Melissa McCarthy was the final disaster of the Oscar 2013 Red Carpet, the comedy actress completely missed the stylish mark in her grey David Meister dress.

The unflattering material is something you expect to be slouching around in at home, the awkward placement of the embellishment and the ugly teased big hair. It was a complete fashion miss for me.

Who else would have made your Worst Dressed list?
