It’s that special time of year again when hearts can be melted all over the globe – so we decided to ask some famous faces some nosy Valentine’s Day Questions just for you!

Celebrity Chef Jean Christophe Novelli - What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for a partner?

“When I met my Michelle (Michelle Kennedy) my belle I made her some bread with Rustic Camembert and chilli oil and baked it, when it was ready I sliced it in front of her and all the cheese came running out, Michelle went running to get a cloth and panicked, this was a complete ice breaker for us.”

What are you going to be doing on Valentine’s Day then, Jean Christophe?

"I’m going to be working at the pub – I have to. I’ve never celebrated Valentines Day on February the 14th. (Laughs) I’ll always do it on the 15th or the weekend following because it’s like a duty. I have to take my lovely girl out and it’s better to take the full weekend anyway."

Ready Steady Cook’s Antony Worrall Thompson - What have been the best and worst Valentine’s Day presents that you’ve ever received?

“That’s a bit risky isn’t it? (Laughs) Well it was actions rather than monetary. (Laughs) I’m being a man now tripping over my words. It’s a tricky one that – well, discovering my wife, lets put it like that. (Laughs Again) Before she was my wife. The worst one was being dumped by an old girlfriend. Although it was all meant to be in the end, cos I found a much better girl. But dumping on Valentine’s Day is not good news.”

Top Nutritionist Anita Bean – What does the 14th of February mean to you?

"It’s actually my birthday so it’s easier to remember it. It’s the men who are supposed to do romantic things isn’t it. I’m probably quite guilty as I tend to take a back seat on Valentine’s Day and expect the flowers and the chocolates (Laughs)"

Confetti cast member Vincent Franklin – Do you believe in love at first sight?

“I asked my wife to marry me the first day we were together, but it took me two and a half years to persuade her. I suppose I do believe in love at first sight. Day One I asked her to marry me so how much more in love can you be? She was very more levelheaded than me and said: “no you’re just sad and you don’t even know me.” (Laughs)

Ex – Corrie actress Pauline Fleming - Are you a romantic person?

“It’s actually the wrong time in my life to ask me that.(Laughs) Cos I’m an old cynic. (Laugh) I’m afraid I have been in my life, but over the years it’s been crushed, my romanticism. It’s been crushed by disappointment in men.”

American musician Ben Taylor - What’s the most romantic thing that you have done for your partner?

“Man! I’m more cynical than I am romantic. I’m not like waiting with a rose and a drop of dew in the moonlight or anything like that. That’s certainly not going on. I’ve never done anything romantic in my life – I don’t have a romantic bone in my body – the only thing I do is get cynical, sarcastic and I tease. Sometimes if I feel affectionate I can’t help myself and I bludgeon my girlfriend with a pillow – I do if she gets too cute, she gets hit with a pillow.”

Former Fat Friends star Lisa Riley –What is the nicest thing that a guy can say to a woman?

“You light up my life.” Awww! “My favourite romantic film – I do love Beaches – I think that’s lovely and I can sit on the couch watching that one.”

Brilliant Brit Actor Jason Watkins - What is the most romantic thing that anybody’s ever done for you in your life?

“Oh blimey. I’m so ugly that nobody’s ever (Laughs). I’ve had some wonderful birthdays where my girlfriend’s just done everything. Got up, looked after me all day and took me from one place to another and then I go out with all my mates. Yeah – she organised a birthday party, so I arrived at the pub and all my mates were there, which was great.”

Dancing on Ice’s Lee Sharpe - Are you still looking for love and for that special someone to settle down with?

I’m still interviewing. I’m a hard man to please.

The Honey Association’s Brian Butcher – Are you a romantic person?

Gosh -Very much so, yes! I buy my wife flowers all the time. But don’t tell her she’s getting any for Valentine’s….

Glamour model Michelle Marsh - You’ve featured in FHM's influencial 100 Sexiest Women in the World – who do you think is the most fanciable man on the big screen or on TV?

Oh let me see. I really like Antonio Banderas. I’ve had a crush on him for as long as I can remember. Also, I don’t think he’s a very good actor, but I really like Orlando Bloom. I don’t think much of his acting skills but he’s very, very pretty, very good looking. Antonio is just the bomb!
