The 'American Horror Story' actress has teamed up with her dermatologist Dr. Barbara Sturm, to launch Darker Skin Tones collection, which will be available at Harrods stores and online in July.

Angela made the beauty collaboration announcement to her fans on Instagram.

She wrote: "Hey Everybody, you good? I'm so excited to tell you about a new little "something-something I've been working on with my friend,@DrBarbaraSturm. A unique skincare line we designed for OUR beautiful shades of skin tones is launching at @Harrods this July! I think you're gonna love it! Stay tuned! More info coming soon!#sturmxbassett (sic)"

Angela - who shares twins Bronwyn and Slater, 10, with husband Courtney B. Vance - started working with Sturm after she experienced a series of breakouts on her skin. She began using Sturm's eponymous line - including a cleanser and face cream - but she wanted to create products that would focus on issues that plagued darker skin tones such as Hyperpigmentation and inflammation.

Speaking about the collaboration, Sturm added: "I began to formulate and Angela Bassett began to test our line for skin of color. Our premise was simple: less is more. (sic)"

Darker Skin Tones collection will include a foam cleanser, an enzyme cleanser, two face creams and a hyaluronic serum, starting at $58 (£43.63).
