The 35-year-old singer has admitted she is a fitness fanatic and will undertake as many exercise classes as possible during seven days because she loves to feel her heart "pumping" and "challenged" after a gruelling work out.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz about her fitness routine, the blonde beauty said: "I do spin class at 7am.

"I would say I am [a fitness fanatic]. I really enjoy fitness.

"I enjoy working out, I really do. I like the way my heart gets pumping, and sweaty, and I feel challenged, I feel strong. I try to work out at least four times a week, but it depends on what's going on. If I can get in like five or six I will, because I like it. But it varies with what I've got time for the week.

"I like classes or I like one on one. There's W10 I work out with some trainers in London, so either I work out with them or I go to classes like Kobox, or I'll do hot yoga."

And the former 'Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway' co-host - who has recently announced her departure from the show after presenting it since 2002 - has hinted her mother, Peggy, inspired her love of fitness because she was a personal trainer of "all kinds of stuff".

She explained: "My mum was a personal trainer of all kinds of stuff."

And Ashley - who launched her debut shoe line Allyn last week - has admitted she is a dab hand at walking and dancing in high heels, which is a skill she acquired after spending seven years in the girl group The Pussycat Dolls, alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.

She said: "I've had a lot of practice [dancing in heels] with the Dolls. We'd did a 90 minute dancing singing show in heels, so I can definitely hold my own in a pair of heels."
