When you are thinking of going on your summer holiday does your blood run cold at the thought of slipping on a skimpy bikini - well you are not alone.

Research has revealed diet and work out so as not to feel negative when they dress for for he beach.
Clinic Compare has surveyed 2,000 people to find out the extent to which planning for the 'perfect beach body' takes over Brits' lives.
Key findings from the survey include:
- 70% of women said they feel judged wearing a bikini
- Some respondents admitted to spending as much as 7 months working on their bodies in time for summer - meaning that there are only 5 months diet/workout free
- 84% said that their appearance affects their daily life
- The majority of men want to look like Zac Efron
- The majority of women want to look like Beyoncé
- More people are conscious of being "bikini body ready" for friends than for their relationships (47% vs. 35%)
- 18% even say that preparing for summer body affects their career
Agnese Geka of Clinic Compare comments: "Our findings highlight that the pressure of looking good has certainly extended well beyond the summer season. The rise of online fitness gurus and the influence of social media on body perception clearly means that people are constantly being reminded of what they should be aspiring to look like. "
The report also reveals that:
* 72% feel that they need to lose weight and work out before wearing a bikini in public
* 68% feel pressured to look a certain way in a bikini
* 70% feel j udged when wearing a bikini
* 52% would consider w earing a padded bikini to boost their body confidence
* 84% said that their a ppearance affects their daily life
* 76% saidthatpreparingforthep erfectsummerbodytakesovertheirdailyroutine
* 16% leave 5 7 months to prepare for their summer body and 3 % leave 1 2 months
* The majority of m en don't feel more pressured to get a perfect summer body for a lads holiday,
* however the majority of w omen do for girls holiday
* The majority of men want to look like Z ac Efron
* The majority of women want to look like BeyonceÌ
