Chosen for a third season in a row to receive Cotton USA's highly coveted LFW sponsorship, Steinmetz will benefit from the programme that has helped emerging designers such as Meadham Kirchoff and Preen to showcase their talent, and bring their creations to life through the use of U.S cotton.

This season Steinmetz has once again evolved her collection with the help of Cotton USA, not only drawing from modern art and sculpture as inspiration, but by bringing this to life through presenting at the home of historic and contemporary art, TATE Britain. This season's collection sees traces of iconic art and modern sculpture, cleverly interpreted through a highly conceptual use of cotton, where audiences will see the visionary blend into the wearable.

Stephanie Thiers-Ratcliffe, International Marketing Manager of Cotton USA commented"Season after season Faustine never fails to deliver collections that are the perfect blend of effortless beauty and detailed craftsmanship with the reminder that fashion doesn't have to be disposable - all qualities which mirror the values of Cotton USA."

The Parisian-born designer began her studies at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris before moving to London to complete her Masters at Central Saint Martins, under the guidance of Professor Louise Wilson OBE. Having worked for the likes of Jeremy Scott and Henrik Vibskov, Faustine set up her label in early 2013 after acquiring her first handloom. All of Steinmetz's pieces are made in accordance with her belief in craftsmanship over trend, designing beautiful staple pieces for the everyday woman.

Steinmetz said "I am thrilled to receive the Cotton USA LFW sponsorship for a third season. The fashion industry is highly competitive and it can be very tough for young designers to make their mark. This support allows me to express my vision and showcase the collection in a way that is wholly responsible."

She continued "Using U.S. cotton means that I am working with fibers and fabric that are responsibly sourced. Its versatility gives me the freedom to create high quality pieces whilst not compromising on innovation in my work."

For a number of years Cotton USA's LFW sponsorship programme has been a valuable platform for young designers to elevate their profile and expand their brand. Previous recipients of the sponsorship include Richard Nicholl, Meadham Kirchhoff, PPQ, Preen, Louise Gray and palmer//harding.
