Halle Berry is fanatical about her skincare regime.
While the 'Cloud Atlas' actress only wears foundation, mascara and lip balm on a daily basis, she revealed she will never cut corners when it comes to looking after her skin.
She explained: "What is high maintenance about me is my skincare regime, and it's been like that since I was 14. I've always cleansed, toned and moisturised twice a day, every day. I think it's so important for ensuring an even complexion.
"I've used Kinara products for about 15 years as they really work for my skin. There are products for every age and skin type - young, mature, black, white and Asian."
The pregnant 46-year-old actress - who is expecting her second child with fiancé Olivier Martinez and already has five-year-old daughter Nahla with male model Gabriel Aubry - is determined to ensure her obsession gets passed on to her daughter.
Halle said: "My daughter is only five but I've already got her applying sunscreen daily. You need to start young to make sure your skin is really smooth and even and not patchy or blotchy.
"I'm going to continue to drill that into her, to make sure its part of her everyday life."
It comes as no surprise that the star would rather ditch all make-up in favour of SPF sunblock if she could only choose three essential beauty products, since she even wears sun cream in winter to block out any harmful UV rays.
Halle added to InStyle magazine: "My three desert island beauty products would be SPF, SPF and SPF! Guarding your skin from the sun is vital for keeping it soft, smooth and silky.
"I wear sun protection all year round - even in the middle of winter - and I really slather it on to make sure I'm protected."
