The former Victoria's Secret Angel has thousands of fans, over 750,000 followers on Twitter and 2.9 million followers on Instagram and she accepts it's important for her to set a good example to the people who follow her career.

Karlie - who set up the Kode With Karlie scholarship with the Flatiron School, where she studied computer coding in 2014 - said: "I do feel responsibility to be an example for young women in general. That's what Kode with Karlie is about ... There are worse things than being called sweet or being a nice girl."

The 23-year-old model is an active social media poster and she loves to keep her Instagram account updated as often as possible.

She said: "I feel like I travel so much I like to use (Instagram) as a way to show and share what I'm doing!"

The statuesque beauty - who is close friends with Taylor Swift - always strives to improve herself as a person and this autumn she starts a new chapter in her life when she begins a course at New York University.

Karlie - who gave up her contract with Victoria's Secret to return to education - tells the September issue of Glamour magazine: "I didn't want to wait until I'm 30 to continue learning and challenging myself in new ways."
