Lucy Hale swears by false eyelashes.
The petite brunette admits her killer gaze and long lashes are actually courtesy of her faithful falsies, which she learnt to apply on the 'Pretty Little Liars' set to make her character, Aria Montgomery, look more glamorous.
She said: "People are always like, 'Wow, you have great eyelashes!' and I'm like, 'They're not mine!' With 'Pretty Little Liars' it's always glam 24/7, and so we're always wearing fake eyelashes. I know how to apply [them] perfectly!"
Lucy revealed she isn't as "out there" as her high school student alter-ego when it comes to her dress sense or her everyday make-up.
She added to People magazine: "I load up on sunscreen, don't wear a lot of make-up and look for outfits that I can take from day to night."
The 24-year-old actress is excited about joining the ranks of Mark cosmetics' ambassadors, who include Lauren Conrad and Ashley Greene.
She said: "I genuinely like the products, but they also stand for so much that I believe in. Their whole motto is empowering women ...
"I think they just stand for, 'everyone's beautifully made,' and they're all about embracing uniqueness and I've always sort of felt the same way."
