Sam Riley

Sam Riley is the new face of Ermenegildo Zegna.

The 'Maleficent' actor has replaced Irish hunk Jamie Dornan as the face of the Italian menswear brand's autumn/winter 2015 campaign.

The 34-year-old Brit was shot by esteemed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the upcoming adverts, which was styled by the company's creative director, Stefano Pilati, WWD reports.

This is Sam's second modelling gig, having fronted Burberry Prorsum's ads back in 2008.

The black-and-white campaign for the British fashion house was devised by Christopher Bailey and shot by Mario Testino, and saw the actor cosying up to Victoria's Secret beauty Rose Huntington-Whiteley.

Sam is best known for his portrayal of Joy Division's Ian Curtis in the 2007 film 'Control' and appears opposite Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning in Disney's live action re-imagining of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale, 'Maleficent'.

After a string of indie movies, the star is set to hit the big time with 'Maleficent' and was enthralled by the novelty of working on a big-budget production.

He joked to The Guardian newspaper: "I'm proud of all of my films. But it's going to be fun being in a film that people might actually go and watch."
