The site promises to help you find flattering clothes

Shopping online can be a nightmare if you’re not certain of your size or bodyshape, but the launch of a new website, ClothesAngel is on hand to offer advice.

Launching on September 1, www.Clothesangel.com is an online style consultancy and shopping guide that uses body shape ‘angels’ to diagnose your body shape and point you in the right direction.

They are affiliated with top retailers like Wolford, Coast and Marks and Spencer too, ensuring you are getting the latest fashion trends that are gracing the high street.

The site promises to help users develop their own personal style and grow confidence in the way they look. It also helps to avoid those shopping traumas and expensive mistakes that sit in the wardrobe for years to come making you feel nothing but guilt.

Rather than the unflattering and outmoded "apple, pear, rectangle" body shape descriptors, Clothesangel.com features five ‘angels’. Each angel represents a specific body shape and the interactive questionnaire works out which angel represents your body type.  Your angel then helps you to dress your figure, from lingerie to outfits to accessories, in a way that will make you look your absolute best. It will also tell you about the best items for you on the high street and where to get them.

Clothesangel.com is headed up by Karen Watson, a personal stylist, who began her training at the renowned Eveden Fitting School.  She was then asked by Wolford to go into partnership in their Kings Road store. She ran her own boutique and then trained to be a stylist through the Federation of Image Consultants.

Karen Watson comments:  “Launching Clothesangel.com has been a dream come true for me.  The problem for many women is that they tend to take their ‘style’ inspiration from other people, from models and celebrities to friends and colleagues, rather than what suits their own body shape, coloring and personality. Finding out which angel type represents your body type helps women gain confidence in their own style and avoid repeating those expensive and soul-destroying mistakes.”

Other affiliates with Clothesangel.com include House of Fraser, Gant, Phase Eight, Dorothy Perkins, Baukjen, Belstaff, Mango, Karen Millen, Reiss, Monsoon, Accessorise, Swarovski, Dune and Cath Kidston.
