Ludacris Loses his Number One fan
Only two weeks after winning a Grammy, Ludacris, born Chris Bridges is grieving the death of his father, Wayne Bridges, who died early yesterday morning from unknown causes.
The Disturbing tha Peace CEO had lived with his father since the age of 14 and puts his father down as the person who introduced him to Hip-Hop when he was only five years old.
At the 49th Grammy Award Show two weeks ago, Ludacris won an award for the Best Rap Album with Release Therapy which houses his latest single Runaway Love with Mary J Blige.
Troubled Rapper Calls Press Conference
Rapper Foxy Brown has called a press conference in her native Brooklyn to address the on going issues she is having with 'negative press.'
The conference which is scheduled to take place today will have the Brooklyn rapper, who was arrested again last weekend while in Florida, supported by her local Pastor along side Benjamin Chavis and supporter
Al Sharpton. The rapper was actually in violation of her probation after a similar event in Manhattan in 2004 gave her three years probation last year.
Foxy Brown whose real name is Inga Marchand has an album scheduled for release this year called Black Roses.
Shooting Prevents Trina Performing
Scheduled to preform at a strip club in Pompano Beach, FL, Miami rapper Trina had her performance halted due to trouble escalating inside the Synn City strip club after a shot was fired. The trouble then spilled outside the club where further shots were fired which resulted in seven individuals being admitted to hospital for injuries related to the incident.
Jermain Dupri Launches own Clothing Line
Recently appointed president of Island Records Urban Music, a new division of the Island Def Jam Music Group, Jermain Dupri is venturing into the world of fashion with his own clothing line. The company So So Def Clothing has the Atlanta based entrepeneur partnering with Blink 182 musician Travis Barker.
The line which will be readily available in the US will feature, belt buckles, hoodies and t-shirts.
Detox to Drop This Year Says Dre
The mighty producer Dr. Dre has confirmed that his highly anticipated Detox project will be available for fans this year. The producer famed for the careers of Eminem and 50 Cent has been teasing fans for the last three years with talks of this project. Rumors have continued to spiral out of control in regards to this project. Recently we saw Dr. Dre and West coast co-hort Bishop Lamont talk about the project on famed website YouTube.com.

Kanye to graduate
Set for a fourth quarter release, Kanye West is set to deliver his third album to the masses. The albums title is Graduation and will feature tracks with Chris Martin who assisted CEO of Roc-a-fella Records Jay Z on his latest album, Kingdom Come, and also John Mayer. In Kanye related news on Tuesday, February 20, iTunes Music Store released a single for the Nike Air Force 25th Anniversary called "Better Than I've Ever Been" which is also speculated to be a track off the forthcoming album.

Ciara denies relationship with 50 Cent
After allegedly being spotted in the back of a car belonging to 50 Cent last month, Ciara has adamantly denied the rumors of any personal relationship between herself and the Queens rapper. Ciara did however work with 50 on her recent album, The Evolution where he joined her on a track called Can't Leave Him Alone.
At the time when the sultry singer was allegedly hiding in the back of the G Unit front man's car, she was actually on location in L.A working on the new video for her song Like a Boy.
