Sometimes it can feel like a complete waste of day - whereas there are some people who will lowkey enjoy the hangover as an excuse to lounge around all day.

Kim Kardashian has said in the past she doesn’t like drinking because it means she isn’t as productive the day after.

If you’re one of those who can’t bare to be in the house all day, here are some ways you can motivate yourself to come back round.

Drink plenty of water

The best bet to avoid a hangover completely is to drink a pint of water before bed. But if you were a little bit too far gone to remember to do that, making it the first thing you do in the morning will benefit you massively throughout the day.

Food and painkillers

Have some food that will give you energy for the day ahead. Energy = motivation, right? If you’ve got a sore head, this is your opportunity to take some painkillers. You should be feeling better pretty quickly.

Exercise

It may seem a ridiculous suggestion, because you really can’t be bothered. But even going for a 30 minute walk will do you a world of good. Fresh aire and exercise will sort you if you need some help getting your head back together from the night before.

Being productive around the house

You don’t need to go out, run a marathon, do the food shop and wash your car to have a productive day. Giving your house a tidy and clean will make you feel better. It’s much easier to relax in clean space than surrounded by takeaway boxes from the night before…
