This time around it’s man mountain Jason Momoa in the title role, a movie that could make the actor a star.

He has already enjoyed success this year with the character of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, an adaptation of the George R.R. Martin.

The actor put himself on a punishing diet and fitness regime as he prepared to get himself in shape for the movie.

He is joined on the cast list by Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Stephen Lang (Avatar), Rose McGowan (Charmed) and Rachel Nichols (G.I. Joes: The Rise of Cobra).
